Swiss Platform Ageing Society
The platform is a network of over a hundred organisations working on population ageing. It promotes interdisciplinary dialogue and undertakes foundation work for practitioners, government and administrative bodies.
Aim of the platform
The ageing society is a demographic shift that requires adaptations and responses in many areas of life. As part of the Decade of Healthy Ageing (2021–2030) initiative launched by the World Health Organization (WHO), we operate the Ageing Society platform. This brings together players from science, associations, business, administration and government, and provides knowledge as a source of guidance.
