Heimspiel event series

Heimspiel makes humanities and social science research a tangible reality outside the major conurbations. Distinguished scientists return to their home town or other town they have strong ties with to give an insight into their career and passion for research.

Aim of the project

What do archaeologists do? What kind of thing do philosophers work on? What’s so fascinating about dialect research? These are questions a lot of people ask themselves, especially when someone local has made a career in academia. Heimspiel brings researchers back to their roots for a themed evening during which they give an insight into their work and answer questions from the audience. The project is a cooperative venture between SAGW and Science et Cité, which is responsible for organising and running the events.
