Conferences

Every two years, the SGGF organizes an international symposium on current topics in gender studies. This year’s conference will be held at the University of Basel. It invites contributions from the field of gender studies on the conference theme “wissen – savoir – sapere – know(-ledges)”.

This theme is a starting point for promoting the exchange of ideas between gender researchers from different disciplines and research areas. The aim of the conference is to promote the gender research community and to network Swiss and international researchers. Participants at all career levels from academia and related disciplines are invited to address the conference theme as well as other issues and topics relevant to gender studies.
