This issue of the Revista unites articles of authors associated with the Swiss School of Latin American Studies (SSLAS). Despite its name, SSLAS is not a centralized school but rather an inter- university cooperation bringing together scholars from the social sciences and the humanities who are working on Latin America at Swiss universities.
