Más allá de Ecuador

The articles collected here analyze, explore in depth, or revisit some of the debates sparked by the exhibition «Arte en movimiento / Devenir Ecuador», an interactive installation centered on Oswaldo Guayasamín’s (1919–1999) famous mural «Ecuador» (1952), which was hosted at the University of Geneva from October 13 to 28, 2016. The original concept for this installation, developed by Carlos Jáuregui, Tatiana Botero, and their teams (University of Notre Dame, Indiana), brings together cultural theory, mathematics, media technology, pedagogy, and computer science.
