Membership
The SSRE has around 550 members from all disciplines of relevance to educational science.

Benefits
SSRE members benefit as follows:
- They receive a digital Newsletter four times a year and also supplementary newsflashes, keeping them informed about current events in educational research, national and international scientific events, calls for papers and job offers.
- They can commission the SSRE to publish an event, job vacancies and important information in the context of educational research.
- Three times a year, they are sent a link to the current issue of the Swiss Journal for Educational Sciences).
- SThey benefit from a cost reduction when attending the Annual Conference and/or the Young Researchers' Conference.
- They can participate in working groups that focus on a specific educational research topic.
- The SSRE is a member of the European Educational Research Association EERA. This association organises an annual conference and a pre-conference for young researchers. Members benefit from a cost reduction for attending the ECER congress and the ECER pre-conference.

Indidivual members
Individual member receive a digital Newsletter four times a year and also supplementary newsflashes. Three times a year, they are sent a link to the current issue of the Schweizerische Zeitschrift für Bildungswissenschaften (Swiss Journal for Educational Sciences). They benefit from a cost reduction when attending the SSRE Annual Conferences and the conferences of our sister societies ABC-Educ, AECSE, DGfE and ÖFEB.
Supporting members
Educational organizations and units affiliated with universities and other higher education organizations can register as supporting members, naming a designated contact person. In addition to the same benefits as individual members, supporting members enjoy visibility on the SSRE website and are mentioned at the annual Congress (if they wish). Through their supporting membership, educational organizations and institutions support the SSRE as well as educational research and the promotion of emerging researchers in Switzerland.
