Swiss Journal of Business

The Swiss Journal of Business (SJB) aims to disseminate new findings from business research, draw attention to important issues in business practice, present scientifically sound solutions for practical application, and generally promote the exchange between academia and the business world.

The Swiss Journal of Business

Published four times a year, the Swiss Journal of Business features:

  • Original scholarly articles with practical applications,
  • Case studies on the use of scholarly tools to solve business management problems,
  • Discussion pieces on current topics in the Business Management Dialogue section, and
  • Reviews of interesting new publications in the field of business management.

The journal’s scope of topics includes both the core disciplines of business administration (e.g., marketing, accounting/controlling, organization, and corporate management) as well as newer fields such as technology and innovation management. Articles may have a specific focus on the Swiss economy, but this is not required.

For many years, the quality of the articles has been ensured through a double-blind peer review process in accordance with internationally accepted standards. Experts from the field of business administration serve as reviewers.

The Swiss Journal of Business is aimed at students and faculty at universities and universities of applied sciences, as well as business practitioners. With its approach of combining theoretical rigor and practical relevance in high-quality articles, it ranks among the leading German-language journals in the field of business administration.
