Annual conferences
Every year, the SGA organises a two-day symposium on a key topic in the field of agricultural economics and agricultural sociology. The symposium serves as a platform for the presentation of new research. It also provides an opportunity for expert speakers from Germany and abroad to give presentations on a topical issue and to exchange views.
Autumn Seminars
Every year, the SGA holds the SGA Agroeconet Autumn Seminar in order to promote the SGA relationship network and applied knowledge exchange in agricultural economics and rural sociology.
The SGA Agroeconet Autumn Seminar is a colloquium for the presentation and discussion of both in-progress and concluded research work. At the wine reception afterwards, participants can cultivate contacts in an extensive relationship network of people working in various capacities in the agricultural and food sector.
