An online meet-up for new members takes place every few months. You can find out when the next one is due to take place under Events’. We look forward to seeing you there.

Mentoring Programme

We are pleased to draw your attention to the SGBE’s new mentoring programme for those working in the field of biomedical ethics in Switzerland.

This programme enables experienced ethicists to pair up with those at the start of their careers for the purposes of career development and professional exchange. We would like to thank Agnes Kandlbinder and Bernice Elger for this initiative!

The programme will initially run for one year (October 2026 to October 2027). The number, frequency and format (online/in person) of the meetings will be agreed individually between mentor and mentee.

Please note that the mentoring programme is not intended for the discussion of clinical cases.

For this purpose, there is the monthly Ethics in Everyday Clinical Practice’ discussion group, organised by Anna Rosca (ana.rosca@stadtspital.ch).
