SAUTE members are entitled to apply for various ESSE funding schemes (including book awards, travel bursaries, and financial support for the ESSE doctoral symposium).

Since SAUTE is affiliated with ESSE (European Society for the Study of English), SAUTE members can apply for various ESSE funding schemes, namely, two different book awards, travel bursaries, and significant financial support to enable participation in the ESSE doctoral symposium (which usually takes place on the occasion of the biennial ESSE conference).
