The project studies digital participation among young people in two medium-sized cities in Senegal, Saint-Louis and Ziguinchor.
The symposium aims to combine engineering and social science approaches to analyze digital access infrastructure and young people’s appropriation practices in urban areas, particularly in secondary cities in the Global South. The symposium is organized in partnership with the African Cities Journal.
