In October 2024, the commission had a change in the team of representatives. Olivia Killias (University of Zurich) stepped down and was replaced by Jonas Köppel (University of Bern). Nina Khamsy (Graduate Institute, Geneva) and Stefan Binder (University of Zurich) continue as representatives.
On 10 November 2023, the DocPostDoc commission organised an event in Zürich together with the CUSO programme entitled: "PhD and PostDoc Meet Up: After the PhD, in academia and beyond".
On May 31, 2024, the commission conducted an online meeting to inform colleagues about the launch of the commission.
On 6-8 June 2024, the DocPostDoc commission organised a panel at the SAA Conference in Lucerne on the intersections of precarity as an academic research topic and precarity as a lived reality for (many) academics themselves.
