The university of Vienna is hosting the 26th Afrikanist*innentag from Wednesday 18.06 to Friday 20.06 2025 which is organized by the Department of African Studies/University of Vienna and the African Studies Association.
The event invites you to submit proposals for presentations until 15.03.2025 and welcomes all submissions that can be assigned to the heterogeneous field of African Studies. This primarily includes African languages and literatures in all their manifestations, as well as their underlying socio-cultural and historical conditions and uses. Proposals on all linguistic sub-areas are just as welcome as proposals that pursue social, literary, cultural or historical approaches and methods of African Studies.
