Roundtable - "Where are you talking from?" (27.04.2023)

The roundtable will take place in the Pôle Sud of the University of Lausanne and will focus on the question which voices are heard to overcome fractured discourses.

The panel discussion "D'où tu causes?" ("Where are you speaking from?") will be held in collaboration with the Center for African Studies at the University of Lausanne and the Swiss Society for African Studies. The public panel discussion aims to give voice to different points of view, focusing on the connections between Europeans*, Africans* and Afro-People*. Underlying the discussion is an intersectional approach, as well as a denunciation of the persistence of a structural system of dominance toward racialized and marginalized populations in Western societies.
