EASA - Extended call for Editors: Social Anthropology/Anthropologie Sociale

EASA is looking for new editors for its journal, Social Anthropology/Anthropologie Sociale.

Extended call for Editors

EASA is looking for new editors for its journal, Social Anthropology/Anthropologie Sociale.

Applications are invited for the position of Editor-in-Chief or Co-Editor-in-Chief of EASA’s peer-reviewed journal, Social Anthropology/Anthropologie Sociale. The journal changes its editors every four years, and the current editors (Sarah Green and Patrick Laviolette) end their term this year. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in steering the intellectual conversation amongst anthropologists, and to reflect, as well as help to shape, current debates and emerging issues of interest to anthropology. Social Anthropology/Anthropologie Sociale, as the journal of EASA, is also the place where the views and concerns of anthropologists based in European universities can be fully aired. The job is a big responsibility; but it also has enormous intellectual rewards.

Applications with CV should be sent to the Secretary ( by 22 June. Meetings with potential candidates will be held during the EASA biennial conference in Stockholm in August.
