The SAHS has a broad national as well as an international network at its disposal. It was a founding member of the Swiss Academies of Arts and Sciences. Together with further key players within the research community it works on issues of science policy.

The SAHS is internationally integrated as well. It is a member of various international organisations and is in contact with other academies all over the world. Scientific network groups support the SAHS in its international task.
