University of Vienna: Full Professor of Methods of Empirical Social Science with a focus on Text Analysis
Full time, permanent position under private law. The University of Vienna intends to increase the number of women on its faculty, particularly in high-level positions, and therefore specifically invites applications by women. Among equally qualified applicants women will receive preferential consideration.
The successful candidate is supposed to represent the whole range of content-analytical techniques - with a particular focus on computer-based techniques in teaching and research. In addition, the candidate will have experience in and a profound knowledge of communication research. She or he must demonstrate ability to utilize empirical analysis in the study of societies. She/he should have a record of successfully gaining research funding, being the principle investigator on international projects. Deadline: August 31st, 2012.
